As a printmaker Hideo made both lithographic and intaglio prints. Birds and a few flowers were depicted in more than ten of these prints. Twenty-one examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Hideo drew the shapes of most of his picture subjects in a true-to-life way but he was more creative when choosing their colors.
